Jason, I can't definitively tell the species from the photos, but from the curling, it looks like a drought stressed cool season turfgrass (maybe because it was pulled up? Or was it like that in the lawn? Maybe you have a dry spot.) It could easily be TTTF...maybe some perennial Ryegrass mixed in, but I can't tell for sure.
