Fungus or Disease??

Post by pristinegreen75 » July 4th, 2020, 8:52 am

Gave my backyard a good 1" of water yesterday. Woke up this morning and had a bunch of mushrooms in a 8x10ft area. Have been watering once a week so I don't think it would be overwatering, Close look at grass blades and I don't notice any lesions or tan tips etc.... Could this be a some kind of fungal disease? With all the heat and humidity lately I'm a little nervous. Don't want to drop a curative fungicide if it is not necessary. Maybe i am just overthinking this??? Happy 4th guys!!!!!

Mushrooms are not a sign of issues - as a matter of fact they are an indicator of the presence of organic matter. For the most part, they are the equivalent of flowers for mostly-beneficial fungi.
