Any good Bewitched sources this Fall?
I’d like to do a little over seeding in a few areas and fill in some spots but there is no Bewitched at my favorite source, Pawnee Butte. Searching only seems to reveal insane pricing every where else. I’d be looking for no more than 10 lbs. Any referral is appreciated!!

When are you looking to sow the seed? Today was seed-down for me, and I'm probably 7 days away from knowing if I need to do any re-seeding. I have around 7 pounds of Bewitched remaining as a contingency in case we have washouts (which have been a problem for us in the past...)
(I also have 10+ pounds of Prosperity, but that's not what you're looking for...)

Too soon old, too late smart.
I've never done a renovation, and I use grasses that aren't very popular.
But I read a lot of threads here, and from what I've gathered, if you want to be able to pick your cultivar, you should order in spring or early summer.
As I see it, you've got two choices. You can delay a year or you can pay the higher prices.

Yes this is essentially a last minute decision but I’m not worried. My front renovation about 5 years ago was seed down well into September and it came out just fine. It had 4 cultivars- including Prosperity- but the last one I did was in the back yard 3 years ago with almost but not quite a Bewitched monostand and I like it better. Ken if you end up with extra and would consider selling me some I would be appreciative. Thanks again all!

Not sure what you are looking to pay or consider a high price but preferred seed in NY has bewitched. ~$100 for 10#

Thanks, I did see that. I don't need that much. Might go that route if no other choice and try to find a home for the balance.

I bit the bullet and ordered 3 lbs from Preferred. Just hate paying that much per pound but as they say it is what it is.
Thanks all!

Yeah, small quantities are expensive - not much can be done about that, other than "shared buy" arrangements with other locals. Good luck! If you end up needing a reseed for some reason, let me know, I may end up with some Bewitched seed left, and your growing season is probably at least a week (maybe two?) longer than mine.
