Question about poa triv...

Post by fun4me2 » August 28th, 2020, 6:35 am

I have this grass popping up in my lawn.
It is light green and has a straw like texture.
It pretty much lays flat. It is showing up in an area that always gets full sun.
This is new this year.
I never read a post that describes Poa Triv having a "straw" texture/feel to it, however.....
does it?

That's gonna take a picture to have any chance of getting even an educated guess...

It was cloudy when I took the first 2 picture a few minutes ago.
The second 2 pictures were taken indoors near my sliding glass door.
The blades have lines front and back.
It pulled up very easy.
Hope the pictures help to ID

The 2 last pictures looks like the grass is dark green but it is not.
I've been doing a lot of googling images, and youtube videos....
I'm thinking maybe this could be goosegrass
