My parents (in NY) had their lawn aerated and overseeded a couple of weeks ago. I think they were then watering too much (I told them to slow down a few days ago).
They just texted me this today. Any thoughts on what it is/how to fix it?

Looks like rust- use a paper towel and see if it wipes off the blade. Definitely lighten up on the watering and throw some nitrogen at it and it should grow out.
