I've been enjoying the priviledge of well water. I have a hose and one of those sprinklers that goes back and forth and have been giving the dry spots an inch lately ( takes three hours). This is the third week with no rain. The tomatoes get as much water as they want as well.

Hand weeded the nutsedge that has been popping up from the wet weather in the northeast. Comes up easy and is almost a little therapeutic wandering and pulling it.

I had a ton of nutsedge as well this year. I lack your patience, so I deployed Ortho nutsedge killer. It works.

Pulled some very young nutsedge yesterday. it comes out really easy when young. I believe Ken-n-Nancy wrote something on that method. no bulbs came up with the roots so maybe it is possible they haven't had time to form yet. Maybe not. I will see next year.:-) I do spray the big ones though.

Overseeded my TTTF for the first time in 5 years today. Cut down at 3" and bagged the clippings. Overseeded and got a good water down on it before the afternoon temperature rises. Set the timer and now its just a waiting game. I'm thinking starter fertilizer the first sign of germination.

Dropped 250lbs of 19-19-19 yesterday before some rain came. Finally starting to not be so dry around here.

Last weekend, I did some leveling and repair around new asphalt driveway with 5 yards of top soil (on about 20k of grass area). Very hard work in the heat but it came out pretty good. Today I applied seed to the new (and overseeded the main lawn) and put down peat on top using my new Landzie peat speader. (The spreader worked really well.) Tomorrow, I'll finish up the back yard with an over seed and water it all in...and then begin the manual watering process (ughh). Used seedsuperstore SS5000 Sunny Mixture (front) and SS6000 Shady Mixture (backyard).

Got 90% of the way done installing the wiring for a Worx Landroid WR155. I did fully install the garage and charging station.

Fed it! 15 pounds of soybean meal per thousand went down today for September's feeding, with minor rainfall due tomorrow. I also ordered the wire for the rest of the installation of the robotic lawnmower. ETA: Tuesday or Wednesday.

Put down 10 bags of Milo with micros on Saturday and put down seed and peat on the Ida wash out areas. I've put down 5 yards of top soil and 28 bags of peat over the last two weekends. I'm pooped.
