Sprayed a mix of BLSC and castor oil all over the back corner of my yard and along the back ditch to keep moles out. This is the first year I'm trying Morph's model. I was a little less than careful the first time I sprayed and I see exactly why the moles will hate this stuff. You need soap to get it off successfully. Too bad for the moles, the only soap I'll be providing is to work that castor oil into the soil! This is the second app, a week apart. The first app was rained in over the weekend.

Applied trifluralin (Snapshot DG) @ 2.3lb/k to my beds. Used the Scotts Wizz hand spreader and it really worked well. Since last year, we about doubled the flower beds so I hope it helps keep the weeds down.

Applied Prodiamine. Deceided to do front and back yard (5,000 sf).
Used Mark it Blue. Hardly saw the blue at all. Not impressed with the stuff. :nea:
I was pretty disappointed with Mark It Blue as well. I found that Liquid Harvest Lazer Blue worked much better. Only problem is that I had to walk the dog until the rains came!

On Wednesday morning, applied Mag-I-CAL to my front yard at bag rate with rain in the forecast for Thurs/Fri. Ended up watering it in myself once I saw the forecast actually called for 2-2.5" and was worried about washing it away.

Have 5 yards of topsoil being delivered tomorrow to fill in some areas where we had stumps removed recently.

I spread 10-10-10 with boron and mowed today. Yesterday was a brew day, so I spread spent grains.

I moved ten cubic yards of mulch into the gardens. Cleaned up. Sprayed weeds. It was a busy, busy weekend for me!

And then spent a bit of time trying to match a dye color to my lawn color so I can say, "My lawn is this color" and just point to my shirt. It's fun, never going to work (I don't really know what I'm doing yet) but I have enough dye left to do 3 more shirts in greens. And the dye won't keep.

Sprayed CCO on weeds.
Front lawn is looking great.
Looks like my first mow will be tomorrow (Tuesday).
Back lawn.... not quite ready for its first trim.
Squirrels are having a grand old time digging holes in the back. :banghead:
There goes my Prodiamine barrier application. (sigh)

Did my first mow!
Was going to drop Grubex tomorrow but the forecast is about 1/2" of rain (T-storm) in a short period of time.
Sunday looks like a better forecast for a more gentle rain. :good:

I think I am officially into a mowing twice a week schedule. Mowed on Sunday at 4" and just walking through the yard this morning it looks like I will need to mow again mid-week to keep up with the growth!

Applied Grubex yesterday. Weather rain forecast changed after I dropped it (of course).
Hopefully we'll get at least 1/4" before it's done.
Not an elite grass but doing pretty good so far after my overseed and fertilizer in these 3 areas last fall.

Killed a few sections of Triv (about the size of a hockey goal) with Glypho. Going to try a seed patch (GCI 90/10 TTTF/KBG).

Yesterday I spread some spent grains on the lawn.

Today, I bought a couple of spreaders. One is a handheld for the humic acid. The other is the push kind because my old one was somewhat unpredictable.

What push spreader did you get? I am thinking about upgrading. Right now I have an Earthway 2600A.
