I guess the question should be, to what end?
They both do the same thing, as far as preventing crabgrass.
But it’s all in the details. Why do you think you need to apply tenacity?
Normally, folks have used that when seeding at the same time.
If you ask me, tenacity is an expensive product to use against crabgrass. There are other less expensive ways to prevent it.
The only wild card here is if you plan a dpring seeding. If that is the case, you need to use caution in selecting which Scott’s product to use (some of their products will kill the new grass seedlings too)
So please provide more information about your specific use.

The specific use would be as an extra measure against crabgrass.

Don’t do that. If you properly apply the Scott’s crabgrass preventer it will be enough. Adding Tenacity just makes you spend more money than needed to do the job.
Instead of the Scott’s product, you might want to look into Dimension or Barricade, both of which last longer.
Just remember, you cannot seed into the area where you apply those products though.

If you aren't doing any seeding this year and want to go after CG in the spring and POA-A in the fall, you might want to split the pre-m into two different products.
In the spring put down Dimension, which has a yearly limit.
Then in the late August and October spray Prodiamine which has its own yearly limit.
Your basically rotating your Pre-M between two products, you just have to read the labels carefully to make sure what the active ingredient of the pre-m is as it can make mistakes if you dont read the labels.
Last year I swear I had poa-a popping up mid June because my spring pre-m wore off. This year I plan on putting down Dimension late march, followed by Prodiamine early May. Ill finish off with Prodiamine apps late August and October. Ill make sure they are all under the annual limits.

It's too early to tell, that really isn't even close to deciding to wake up yet. Even if so, overseeding should be done in mid to middling-late August. So for now in spring, you're OK with crabgrass preventer (which really doesn't sprout until much later anyway, but it'll block other spring weeds).

You're still completely in a mental mode of believing in "Miracles-In-a-bottle" (or bag). There is no such product that kills all weeds - period. The sooner you start believing that, the sooner you're going to start making real headway.
Read the "Triangle Approach to Weed Control", and don't skip levels.

Yeah, Weed B Gon (or, as I usually recommend, going straight to Weed B Gon Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis or the Crabgrass version as it has a wider kill) will take quite a bit of that out.
That's base of the pyramid. And I'd spot spray that instead. I'm never a fan of blanket-spraying as it's a strain on the lawn.
