While performing my morning poa-a purge, I noticed a lot of the poa-a I was pulling barely had a single grass blade. It's almost as if it just came up.
its actually a good thing that its not poa-a that survived the summer, but it got me thinking; if poa-a starts germinating in August when temps are below 70deg....
Does that mean all these cool nights in the spring keep the poa-a germinating through out the spring?
If the poa-a can get through my pre-m in the fall, could these little poa-a seedlings be getting through the spring pre-m?
Does poa-a germinate in the spring...

Yes. It's secondary, but possible.

Agreed. Absolutely. It's an opportunist, so any remaining seeds will happily sprout whenever conditions are good, if the seed survived. Winters are good for seed survival, so spring is a nice secondary season.
