Under Applied Fert

Post by Cole » September 1st, 2021, 9:04 pm

Hi there,

I under applied fert tonight. Using Lesco 25-0-6 with 5% iron.

The spreader got clogged and I ended up getting about 6,000 square feet worth in a 10,000 square foot area. I didn't realize how light i was going until i was done.

You'd think I could just go over it with more, but my spreader was already nearly at the lowest setting (this is why it clogged) so if i go at the same setting I will likely over apply.

My questions are. What results would you expect? Will the effects not last as long or not be as good? Should I just put the remaing fert down as best I can or do a light application again in 2, 3 or even 4 weeks?

Thanks.

It will be like it would be if you had a very small dinner, and at 11pm you're scrounging for food.

Wait 3 weeks and see what needs another app, but be gentle around the margins.
