A week in, and I'm seeing good germination with the PRG. The only bad thing is that the existing, mature grass, especially in front, is really digging that application of starter fertilizer and 4x daily waterings, and is now over 5" tall. The baby grass is not quite an inch tall, but I am going to have to mow this week at some point. Also, interesting whitening of some clover and the scattered areas of Poa (annua, trivialis and pratensis) throughout the lawn after the application of Scotts starter with mesotrione.

I seem to have a similar problem in my backyard this year... very helpful thread!
Any updates on battle?
