Poa Triv kill off & replant
Hey all, looking for some advice; in April I nuked ~24 spots of poa triv 2-3 times. Dead dead…? I tried planting some seed but the random 90 degree plus days took a toll on 75% of the new grass. I’m fine with it, it’s for the greater good. However, now I am seeing some wide blade grass popping up, some fully bleached from initial tenacity app, some not. Should I nuke it all again (no major loss) or see what bleaches with my 2nd tenacity app? My problem is I am having trouble distinguishing between poa triv babies and the tttf / kbg blend I put down. Thanks!

In my experience, Poa Triv doesn’t look all that wide-bladed, certainly nothing like a wide-bladed tall fescue. Tall Fescue can be wide bladed.
Without pics, no one can really advise you. But taking a guess (and that’s all I’m doing here), I suspect you’re seeing Tall Fescue or some other grassy weed. I’d not suspect triv based on your description.
