FAS application
My lawn doesn't seem to be as dark as it was several weeks ago. I have been thinking about doing a FAS app. My ph is 6.3 and iron is high. I'm wondering if I would be wasting my time? With the PH at 6.3 and high iron (245) availability shouldn't be a problem. Thoughts?

Re: FAS application
If you’re doing a foliar application, it should be fine. The spray is absorbed by the grass through the leaves, not up from the roots.

Re: FAS application
I have a quick question about FAS if you don't mind. I over seeded about 6 weeks ago. Will FAS treatments hurt young grass or am I okay to apply it? I have high ph soil so iron is unavailable. Thanks Turf Toes!

Re: FAS application
At six weeks, I’d not run a sprayer on your young grass. Too much weight and too much traffic on the young grass. The FAS application is largely cosmetic (it really looks good and can temporarily make the grass look healthier). I’d skip it for now (until your grass is mature)

Re: FAS application
That definitely makes sense. No reason to risk damaging the young grass. Thanks!
