Put new leaf mulching blades on the tractor and cleared out the clumped up grass on the mower deck. Amazing with wicked sharp blades and good airflow does for the cut. Laid a urea app as well, rain today.

Another round of fertilizer on Friday before all of the rain we got yesterday. That should be it for me until a winterizer after top growth stops.

Mulching many, many leaves today and last few weeks... I've learned that you have to keep up with it or you're toast with the big trees that I have. It's become almost therapeutic for me. Also, seems like a fairly typical year for pace and quantity. Getting ready for full stop for final nitrogen drop to put it to bed.

Doing a cut today and mulching leaves in. Will use this cut to monitor growth in preparation for the final urea drop. Also ripping out the dead mums!

Mowed off a few strips in various places throughout the lawn to see if I still had growth. I was on my hands and knees but realized I mowed off a whisker. The fall nitrogen plan has worked wonderfully this year with the rainfall we’ve gotten. Just waiting for stoppage to apply the final app of urea.

Mulch mowed leaves today with some grass here and there. I think I may have one mow left in the season before I drop the winterizer and call it.
