New USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map (1991 to 2020 data) released

Has anyone seen the new map yet? I just saw it last night. I'm glad they updated it. My takeaways: Basically, the zones continue to move Northward, and the "transition zone" has definitely moved North...it appears that parts of coastal RI/MA/LI now have some Zone 7b areas. Nothing surprising...just good to see it drawn up and aggregated in official map form.

Yep, I've moved into 7b (no surprises there, I've been using that since about 2000 anyway).

^Our Winters are likely similar to how your area's were 20-30 years ago. We are 6b, but not at all far away from 7a...maybe a 20-25 min drive down the main road.
