I did water a lot. At least every day if it was over 85 and sunny. 20-30 minutes at a time. I was NOT going to let the lawn die or go dormant during it's first growth season.

Yes, back in may I did. I pulled some and used RU on the rest and pulled it. That was the end of it. The holes filled in pretty fast.

Just cut the lawn and took some pics. So far this year I found 3 crabgrass 4 dandelions and a few patches of POA. The lawn has thickened up and the real only issue I have is with the creeping bentgrass I found mixed in a few areas last year. The Tenacity arrived today.

Looks great. Your neighbors have nice grass too :-). I may have asked before - is your soil basically a beach like mine?

Pretty much. I can't get the PH up because the lime just heads straight for China.

I distinctly remember planting some shrubs about 9 years ago after I moved in. I dug a hole like that, filled it with water, walked about 25 feet to get the azalea and came back and the water was gone.

I've been dumping tons of organics and it has helped tremendously.
