The label very clearly says that Celsius controls weeds in 1-4 weeks.

Re: FL Weed ID
That would be nutsedge which isn't controlled by Celsius. There are several herbicides that will work to varying degrees. Certainty works very well, but like Celsius, it has a high initial price point. Some others like Sedgehammer can be bought in small packets for one time use.

Is the stem triangular or round to the touch when you roll it between your fingers?

Re: FL Weed ID
Actually, after looking at the pics a little closer, it appears to be green kyllinga. Everything else in my prior post holds true.

Re: FL Weed ID
Yeah...I figured it was something in the sedge family.
I have some false green kyllinga (I think) that pops up in a certain place each year. It's related, but a little different looking.

Re: FL Weed ID
I'm so impatient, I want it to work now!!! Thanks Andy! I'm about to submit a soil test from Logan Labs, hopefully today, I hope the soil forum isn't slammed. Looking forward to getting my yard back on track.
