Zoysia vs. Unknown weed

Hello, new to the board. Bought a new home a couple months back. The last 15 years or so elderly people have lived in the home and kind of let the yard go. I have no doubt that at one time the yard was in great shape. It has a sprinkler system I am slowly repairing

My grass is Zoysia, however about 1/4 of my yard is being overtaken by some sort of weed that I cannot identify. At first I thought it was Centipede grass, but after some research I realized its not a runner style and does not grow slowly like Centipede grass typically does. It is 2x the height of the Zoysia after just a couple of days. Any help is greatly appreciated.
