Ground erosion while trying to establish bermuda

Post by mikej1983 » August 1st, 2017, 1:29 pm

I started last year and killed the majority of my yard off in the back to get the bermuda going. While it is still working its way around I've been putting down too soul in areas to help it spread.

The problem I have is with erosion and when I put top soil down it may wash away depending on how much rain we get. Here in middle TN it has been a rather wet summer. As I lay soil down would it be feasible to cover it with net seed germination and erosion control blanket to keep it from washing away. Would the grass still run over the blanket and establish in to the soul beneath it?
