So here I am all excited since I cut my Bermuda back to 2 inches and started deep watering (all last week).
Now I find out I have Chinch bugs but seems to be confined to one small area of the from lawn (7500 sq ft). I cut tomorrow morning and tempted to go down to 1 1/2" but that will more than likely eliminate the green I do have.
Im headed to SiteOne tomorrow after cutting to get what I need for the bugs (at least according to them). I will post as to what that is tomorrow.

Re: Chinch Bugs?
Chinch bugs start in the hottest part of the lawn. Usually that is adjacent to pavement that gets the most sun for the longest part of the day. If you problem is somewhere else, maybe you don't have chinch bugs.

Re: Chinch Bugs?
I picked up some CrossCheck from SiteOne and sprayed the one area I found them. It was to the right of my driveway with is a narrow patch of grass. I looked in other areas I thought were trouble spots but no bugs. I used the soil I dug up to send in for my soil test...
Thanks
