Plugging in September?
I have some bare patches in an otherwise healthy lawn...is it too late to plug those bare spots?
Thanks

In Central Texas? Don't you still have 12 months left in the growing season?
Much, much further north of you, I don't hesitate to relocate turf well through October and probably into November, confident that it will grow sufficient roots to overwinter. Then again, that's cool-season grass. I don't know how warm-season grasses behave in that regard. I do know that bermuda sod can be laid while dormant.

Agree with TimmyG. I realize it may go dormant, but not anytime soon (in bermuda years).
Why are the spots bare? Is it from shade? If so then plugging won't be a long term solution. The long term solution is to remove the bermuda and replace with St Augustine or one of the really shade tolerant zoysias. Or you could go to a flower bed.
