What is my lawn telling me??
Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? I began scalping my hybrid Bermuda two weeks ago. This past Thursday I brought out the reel and cut the last to 1/8". I have these little piles of what looks like dirt popping up all over my front yard. Is this a mold? Disease? Grub?

Those look a lot like the piles worms leave. If so, it's a good sign.

This is exactly what I believe it is. I topdressed with soil3 and most the areas that were treated are showing signs of these worm piles.
I believe there are bad worms they we don't want living in our yard (army worms) and good ones we do (earthworms). Any suggestions on how to address the species?
So excited for green up...I'm over the dormant season!

Armyworms are caterpillars, not an "earth" worm. Earthworms leave those piles.
