Bermuda newbie
Should I be concerned? I bought my house in August of last year. The grass was nice, thick, and weed free. I only cut it , but did no other maintenance up until about a month ago when I applied Scott's weed and feed. Everyone else's lawn in the neighborhood is thicker and greening faster than mine. Should I be worried? Pics attached

This is nothing to worry about. You did not provide the fertilizer that bermuda expects, and this is what happens - late awakening. It is likely the other bermuda growers in your neighborhood are familiar with the program. For now, the roots are still dormant. Applying fertilizer now would be a waste of time, money, and effort, because the roots are not ready for it. Wait until you mow real grass, not weeds, for the second time. Then you can start the monthly feeding with a high N fertilizer. When you use a dry fertilizer, be sure to water it in immediately and not wait a day. The fertilizer needs to be dissolved/diluted with a bit more water than the morning dew will provide. If you wait for the dew, it will burn the grass.
Mow it low all the time. Once it begins to grow this spring, it will come in fast. You'll have to mow 2, 3, or 4 times a week to keep it low. That growth spurt will slow down in May.
After about the 4th week following the awakening (second mowing), then you can spot spray the weeds with Weed-b-Gon or equivalent.
