Virginia buttonweeds

Post by Jake0772 » April 12th, 2020, 10:32 am

So I’m having trouble getting rid of Virginia button weeds. I live in Louisiana so it’s starting to heat up and I need to act fast. What can I use to get rid of Virginia button weeds?
I usually put down 2-4D, MSMA and sencor, then come behind and fertilize. I started noticing a lot of button weeds towards the end of the summer last year but it wasn’t bad. Seems like this year I can’t get them to go away. Any help or recommendations

The herbicide "Celsius" is pretty effective on Virginia Buttonweed (80%-90% control with one application) and full control can be achieved with spot application(s) of survivors.

Be prepared for some sticker shock.
