Sigh, trying to understand what's going on with my lawn
In spring 2018, I had my hybrid bermuda front and back lawns dethatched and aerated. The front came back great and
healthy. The back took months to come back and has not been healthy since. This winter I had an analysis done by
Ewing's and the results are attached. It was suggested that I apply Screamin' Green, which I've applied twice with no
change so far. I use Dimension per label instructions . I realize it's still early in the season, but things don't look any
different so far. Any input?

Bermuda loves sun. Period. It seems that the weaker areas might match the shade pattern? Do they?
Unfortunately. we can't use the Ewing testing. Each lab has its own set of tests, and we can't know them all. We'd be happy to analyze it if you retest at Logan Labs, if you;d like.

Sounds good, thanks. It gets sunlight most all day and for many years looked great. Nothing has changed, except for the aeration and dethatching. I'll get that testing done and report back.

When nothing seems to work, try organic fertilizer. Soils can become unhealthy with the year over year application of chemical fertilizers. One application of organic fertilizer, like alfalfa pellets, corn meal, soybean meal, etc., at 20 pounds per 1,000 square feet. Call Concord Feed or Rodies for availability and pricing. Corn meal should be under $10. Alfalfa under $15. Soybean under $20.
