Please help with Zoysia question

Well, if it were my lawn, I would continue following his original advice. I’d probably hold off on the May fertilizer though.

In my part of NJ the zoysia lawns aren’t fully out of dormancy. Fertilizing in those conditions only help your weeds.

I think thats good advice to hold off on fertilizing. I’m in upper Passaic county right by Sussex and the zoysia is just starting to turn green. My original plan was to hit it with the fert Memorial Day weekend buy I still don’t see it completely out of dormancy by then.
