Tenacity, Tons-Of-Dandelions, and Overseeding?

Post by kmcdok » May 30th, 2021, 9:59 am

Hi all. I have a lawn that's probably 30%-40% weeds. Literally, there are parts of the yard that are majority weeds - lots of dandelions. Other parts, however, are pretty well established with Bermuda with some chickweed and sporadic other weeds. We have two inside/outside dogs, so I hate to totally kill everything off to dirt/mud. Can I spray Tenacity and seed at the same time on top of what I have? If so, do I use surfactant? I'm a super novice. If it's recommended to go this route, won't a fair amount of the seed just land on the dandelion leaves instead of falling to the dirt? Am I worrying too much and should I just go for it? :)

Thanks
Ken

Tenacity is NOT for use on Bermuda. There is only one exception to this, and that is for using it when the Bermuda is 100% dormant.
