I was trying to say don't think that a tested, named variety of Bacillus subtilis (strain QST 713) in Serenade is the same as a random product from EBAY -- just cheaper.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking you were getting at.
It's like buying generic drugs vs brand name ones I suppose. I can tell the difference in them.

Actually, it's considerably different. Generic drugs don't vary from brand-names by a factor of 1000-to-1.

Sorry to go off-topic. Generic drugs are no more than manufacturing a name drug once its patent expires - they are bioequivalent. Any difference, very minor, is usually due to the manufacturing process.

John, you don't want to get me started on that topic - I spent 6+ years in Drug Safety and Risk Analysis for the biggest Pharma in the world.

Yeah, point taken
Interestingly enough, there is supposed to be some sort of granular product there....

Nah
Nobody's asking anybody for magic fungi.
Was recommended these microbes as beneficial by someone with a great lawn that does turf for a living - so I found a source for them. He wasn't selling them as some sort of magic bean.
What do you call a mushroom that buys all the drinks? A fun guy to be with!
Just make sure he isn't fooling himself into thinking its the Holganix when it could be something else, in other words false correlation.

I don't know about granular Holganix. I was supplied with a pre-release version of SumaGrow that was granular. I didn't think it was anywhere near as effective as the liquid SumaGrow.

That would seem to make sense - after all - most fungi, etc like nice and wet slime

It sounds a lot like Howard Garrett's new
Garrett Juice Pro. I have heard nothing but good things about it...but then again I am listening to Howard Garrett.
I saw how the original Garrett Juice was made. It it had any value in it at all, I would be surprised. Making it yourself according to Howard's recipe would be much preferred. I presume they have gone to some greater/better lengths to make this new product.
Here is a link to Howard's recipe for Garrett Juice. The Pro additives (mycorrhizal fungus and bacteria) are all the way at the bottom of the page.
If anyone tries this or any similar products, it would be good to read your review.

See, now I like brewing things and short DIY projects - so I may take this on at some time.
A lot of this hobby is just playing around with something new - I find it fun.

Using Blend 66L CT, I will be soaking seed for 30 minutes, prior to seed down, and also as a soil drench at seed down.

I'll let you know next spring/reno. This year's reno got delayed beyond seed date. Bought through an aquaintance.
