Organic Pre-Emergent (Pre-Emerg)

Post by probasesteal » August 9th, 2018, 3:20 pm

I stumbled across this product, it looks to be soybean oil that apparently works on crabgrass and dicot seeds by "burning the seed hairs" and preventing germination. Marketing says you can even use it at seed down.

I'm assuming if it's too good to be true, it probably is. Like CGM is a decent organic fertilizer, but not a good pre-emergent.

Thoughts? Anyone ever tried it? Anyone ever heard of it or the company?

I doubt it's going to be the new Tenacity.

Yeah, it's not going to prevent Poa a, t, or desirable bluegrass.
