How much pine bedding pellets to prime for leaf mulching?
Just dropped 50lbs over 8k as the first drop a week ago.
Have another 100lbs ready. Will that be enough to prime for quick leaf breakdown?

None is necessary, really. The fungi will come all on their own, although some priming always helps. It'll take years no matter what you do.

I would keep applying it all spring and summer. It can help improve the tilt of your soil.

It is a slow process, but it gets the same fungi that will eat the leaves moving and multiplying. Yes, it helps the overall tilth of the soil, too.

Sawdust and wood shavings are way underrated. I have a theory that they work there way down to the soil surface where they serve as a micro mulch keeping the soil surface cooler and allowing less evaporation. I have access to tons of sawdust and would be applying much more if I had time. It does amazing things to roses as well used as surface mulch.
