There's a lot of the BL site - I'd suggest searching there...

So, I'm still looking into this as I'd like to be able to maintain beneficial fungii versus killing everything all summer with Heritage or Eagle, but are you going to share your source? Maybe PM those interested?

If there is enough interest, I'll order it in bulk and see if the price can be improved. Otherwise I'll PM the interested folks with my source's info. Shipping is the killer on 2.5 gallon packages being moved around the country...

Do you just mix it with water? I have never seen it before.

I start May 15th (probably earlier is smart in Georgia).

I use 2 oz per 1000 sq ft applied every three weeks when applying as a general preventative.

If conditions seem right for fungal development, I go to 3 oz/K at 14 days. Sometimes 4 oz/K if conditions are perfect.

If I see fungus on my lawn, I might go to 3-4 oz/K at 7 days, but so far I've never had to go to that.

I start scaling back at Labor Day and quit on October 1st.
I am new to this organic thing I have been using the bayer version monthy since april now I am seeing grey leaf spot The front label says leaf spots but if you open the pages it says controls leaf spot on veg etc not lawns. I called bayer they just read the label back to me. Do you think I am wasting money on this product.

No, but it seems you're stuck on the calendar and a certain application rate. You have to use your ayes and experience to adjust the rates and timing up and down as the conditions change. A fixed schedule won't work.

BTW, no substance stops all varieties of lawn disease. Just like Penicillin doesn't cure all human diseases. The fact that it may not stop a specific disease doesn't make it a waste of money.

Spencer...

If you're not seeing success with Serenade, it could be b/c your OM is low. You did mention that you are "new to this organic thing," and from what I understand Serenade works best if it has something to feed on, like corn meal or cracked corn.

I've had success with it this year, but I've been using Milorganite since last summer and Bay State every couple of weeks since this past March. Even before that, my OM tested pretty good....I'm guessing b/c I don't even own a bagger for my tractor.

My suggestion is not to give up, increase the OM in your soil, and try again next year using a less regimented approach.
