Walking Boom Sprayer
Anybody have any experience using a walking boom sprayer for the application of herbicides, fertilizers etc? Seems like they would be much easier to calibrate and be much more accurate like a pull behind boom sprayer on a tractor. They are available but are expensive but if one was to be got a hold of I imagine it would make applying touchy herbicides like tenacity and certainty a breeze. I'm seriously looking into it.

Re: Walking Boom Sprayer
Are you referencing a boom that hooks up to a backpack sprayer, or one of the really nice booms that's on wheels?
I've got a Solo (I believe) 4 nozzle boom that I tried using with my Solo 417 sprayer last year. I tired a handful of nozzles with it but just couldn't get it to atomize properly. I'm of no help with the really nice wheeled booms. If you're talking about a boom like my Solo you'd be welcome to have mine, as I have no use for it.

Thank you Swamp_Fox. I was talking about the wheeled booms. The ones I'm sure some golf courses use for their greens.
