ZTR Tire Pressure
I hav a Toro SS4225 ZTR and can not seem to get a good answer for tire pressure. The manual shows 12 lbs for the big rear tires but does not specify for the smaller front tires. I called around and got three different answers from authorized Toro repair shops (20,25,40)??? That just seems odd so can anyone shed light on this? Thanks...

Re: ZTR Tire Pressure
My Ferris manual shows 40 for fronts. Assuming you have the same treadless tires on typical ZTRs. FYI, I find 12lbs to be pretty low for rears. I need to run around 20 to keep a level ride and not too low on cut.

Re: ZTR Tire Pressure
It should say on the sidewall of the tire.

Re: ZTR Tire Pressure
Just as another data point, I have a Bradley 52" Stand On Zero Turn and the tire pressures from the manufacturer are 12psi rear and 15psi front. The drive tires are 23 x 8.5 - 12 and the caster tires are 13 x 5.0 - 6. The mower weighs around 900lbs without an operator. I figure having something with weight, tire size and pressures will help you adjust yours.

Re: ZTR Tire Pressure
13psi all around on my Toro Titan HD. Sidewall will only tell the max rated pressure for the tire. Your manual does happen to refer to the sidewall for the front caster wheels though.
