Well the leaves are starting to get ready to begin dropping, and bad luck being what it is, the lawn tractor blew up with a mowing deck failure yesterday afternoon. Of course, I'm out of town next weekend so there's no delaying diagnosis and repair. Yeah, I could mow the acre+ with just the Honda (I did yesterday), but multiple passes during leaf season would turn it into an all-day job - Uggggh!
Not the way I wanted to spend my Sunday!

Never mind!!
It was as simple as a 12" long, 1.5" stick jamming the belt drive. It took me longer to get the tractor on its side (supported) than to unjam the drive.

When it happens, it's always exciting to find out that what could have been a big hassle / delay / time-sink ends up being pretty easy to resolve!
