20” EGO not turning on
I have a LM2000-S EGO 56V Lithium-Ion 20"Cordless Lawnmower. All of the sudden it stopped working. I double checked the clips to make sure they are locked in place. I am out of warranty. How much is it going to be if I get it fixed at Home Depot? I know the battery works. I tested it on other EGO epuipment. Is it worth getting fixed? HELP!!

Is the power light staying green?
Home Depot takes a while to complete a repair - many HD's don't do the repairs on-site and it's gone for 3+ weeks.
I don't think anyone can guess what it will cost - it's dependent on what is wrong.
What have you done to diagnose the problem?

I haven’t done much it’s been weird. When I am in the middle of my mojo it will cut off. It has done this in the past and I took it as there was too much build up under the mower. I cleaned it out and made sure that the blade was free spinning. The next day it would run. But now he did the same thing and it won’t start back up it has been some days. I have used a different battery in the blade still doesn’t spin even though that battery works on other items. The led lights do turn on but the blade doesn’t turn on. Thank you for writing me back. How should I go about diagnosing this?

Re: 20” EGO not turning on
I don't own an Ego, so I can't be specific. But I did mower repair for a job in the summers years ago. There are a few Youtube videos on a couple of repeating Ego starting problems. They center around a spring into the starter button and/or a fuse that sometimes is shot - they may help you to check those, although that wouldn't make the intermittent starting issue you describe. Unless you're a DIY guy, it may take somebody that knows the machine well to isolate the issue.

Fixed it! One of the switches moved out of place. I took it apart. (Only 30 screws) it works now!

Was it the switch that has a spring on top of it?
