Serrated Mower Blades....

I picked up an 80v Kobalt Mower last month for a great price, of course the first thing I have to do is by an extra blade for it

The thing I noticed is that the blades for the mower are almost serrated with little ridges. I have a guy locally that shapes blades, would it be OK to sharpen these blades?

I am guessing they could be grounded smooth to work like typical blades, I just haven't seen these types of blades before.
