Not sure how old, looks in good shape, $200. But I can’t figure out if jd made good snow blowers. Google not finding much info.

Model is 828d

I’m also not home and it’s a bit tough searching on my phone.

Thanks!

I can't speak to how good this snowblower is, but keep in mind that old snow blowers are dangerous. I work in an operating room and have seen some horrible finger amputations (the mechanism of injury doesn't allow for reattachment like they can sometimes do with table saw injuries). The newer models may not be as stout as the older ones and certainly more expensive, but from a safety standpoint certainly worth considering.

Understood and thanks. It was sold to someone else anyway (I should have removed my original question once I found that out).

I know this is too late, but I own a John Deere 828D. I bought it brand new in 1999. This machine is a beast. I live in New England and it handles everything from a few inches to a few feet. I just replaced the drive and auger belts for the first time. I would not hesitate to buy this machine again.
