I’ve got several hundred feet of bed edging to maintain
so I bought the bed redefiner attachment for my FS90R trimmer.

Will test it out this weekend.

Awesome. I would love to see how this works. A video would be even better! Good luck.

I give it a B+

It is super fast to rip through dirt and create an edge.

Of course it throws the dirt into the bed. I have a commercial backpack blower and used that to blow the dirt out of the bed and the trench to clean it up. Would be messy job without a blower.

I wish it was wider and deeper otherwise I’d give it a A grade.

This will be good for spring and the use the string trimmer to maintain it during the season.

It was $265 from my Stihl dealer as an attachment.
It’s part of the Kombi system but it also works on the FS90 and FS110 trimmers.

If you want a Super deep and wide trench you need to rent one of those bed definer machines or old school shovel method.

I heard that it throws the dirt back into the bed. That is fine if there is no mulch, but a big pain if there is mulch. I might be in the market for a Kombi system, not sure yet, but if I am forced to pull that trigger then I'll have to decide if the Bed Redefiner is worth it or not.

Your bed looks great. Good luck.

If you use a blower you can blow the dirt off the mulch as it’s a fine powder. Just don’t let it get wet and do it right after creating the edge.
