My 4 sons backpack sprayer

Post by Pway » August 11th, 2019, 2:40 pm

I had to replace my Earthway S25 and ordered a My 4 Sons backpack a month or so ago. Used it the first time today and absolutely love it. It is very comfortable but what I like best is the very even distribution it sprays. I have not used a battery backpack before but I like it far better than a push sprayer or my various 2 gallon pump sprayers. I highly recommend it if anyone is looking for a new sprayer.

I certainly recommend the My 4 Sons backpack sprayer! I purchased the platinum package a few years back which came with a carrying cart for the sprayer and I recommend this battery-powered sprayer over my prior Chapin 4 gallon sprayer.

I will also add that their customer service is excellent.i had some questions about which spray tips to use for various applications and then how to keep the battery well charged over the winter and they got back to me immediately. Used it again yesterday for dimension.

I don't have this particular backpack sprayer, but battery powered sprayers are well worth it.

I have only used my backpack sprayer for liquids so far. Do you use it for something granular that is dissolved in water (e.g., Heritage 50 DF)? I admit to being a little concerned keeping the mix in solution and not damaging the pump. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

I have used mine (Chapin 24V backpack sprayer) for Barricade WDG (water dispersable granulaes) and Heritage 50 DF without issues. I just make sure to do a little dance at the end of each pass to agitate the mixture since my sprayer does not have built in agitation.

This https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools ... _200695296 looks like the sprayer I have. I swapped out the plastic wand for a brass one.
