I had an X300 and with the thick lawn the mower was leaving way too many clippings. Level deck, multiple blade changes and sharpening but I just could not get the cut quality I wanted. My lawn needs cut every 2-3 days and is very dense.
After much research I went to a triple blade mower.
It’s 22 Hp vs my old one which was 17 Hp. Night and day difference.

My brother has JD X380 as well. yeah, It's pretty reliable lawn mower.
