I've previously posted pictures of my dogs and my wife asked me to say a little more. She was out walking our dogs today and was asked what breeder she used. It's an often asked question we both find very offensive which really upsets us.

Both dogs were abandoned. The Pomeranian was thrown out of a car and made his way to a wooded area and then a fenced in construction site. My daughter witnessed this, was finally able to coax him into her house and he's been with us for years. Our German Shepherd was found in a field just about dead from starvation and came to us via an animal shelter. With a lot of vet work and TLC she's doing great.

Both dogs are especially devoted to my wife. Recently she was bed-ridden because of 2 pulled back muscles and neither dog ever left her side except for bathroom breaks.

I can't really blame someone for not knowing my pet's backstory.

Glad your dogs found their way to you!

Harold - He's dethatches my lawn after he relieves himself by digging his back paws into the turf and kicking backwards, we call it motorcycling... although there has to be a better description!

I just say he's being a gentleman and washing his hands off after using the bathroom. :D

This is Lacy. She's a 5 year old yellow lab and she's the best friend to my 16 month old son. She's also the most ferocious dog known to man-kind when the UPS guy comes around, but she wouldn't hurt a fly.

Awesome!

That's great she's good with your kid!

Mines not good around little ones, but enjoys my son now that he's older and can throw the frisbee further.

A couple of Aussie's; My daughter talked my wife in to getting the puppy to play with her dog. Our puppy just turned three.

Beautiful pups!
