August 26th was national dog day. Seems like every day is national something day.

It was Yappy Hour at Redondo Beach; Puget Sound mid-way between Seattle and Tacoma.

Indie, our 3yo American pit. She's my shadow.

Kali our 15yo Yorkie & Twinkie was 13 at the time of her passing.

This was Twinkies chair. She sat in it all day and stared at the squirrels. She still sits in it today looking out the window. (dry humor)

Glad to announce that my lawn will once again be the recipient of dogorganite! As you know, our Winston, Cocker Spaniel died just before last Christmas, but we have adopted a mother doggie and her son from a local rescue. Maddie is a 2 1/2 year old coonhound/foxhound mix. The father of her 5 month-old son, Buddy Guy, is a border collie. Momma is a true rescue and has some emotional issues; but is a sweet girl once she gets to know you. And we've learned one thing already; the threat of bunny damage to the lawn and garden is no more! :)

Here are my two, Carly (black lab) and Stella (chocolate lab). Carly is 7 and I've had her since she was a pup. She's a duck hunting fool. Stella is 8 and my wife and I adopted her in October. She's the new ruler of the house.

Yes!

Kitteh don't care about your sport jacket.

Our Maine Coon high fives, plays piano, jumps through hoops, stays and comes - is that close enough like a dog to be in this thread?

My cat is like a dog too lol. He goes for walks with us around the block off leash and comes up for pets all the time.

Our 10 year old rescue (Bella) has been a great pup! Unsure what breeds she is, but very gentle giant! (90 lbs!)

Fescue sod down for 30 seconds, Bella already testing it out:
