Been a rough season here with the heat, humidity and higher than normal rain fall. Been a struggle, but it may not look its best at least it's still kicking (like me).

The good news is it's only grass, and it can always be fixed and worked on. I disappeared for a while from here, long story short I had a jackass neighbor that started dating her husbands brother, and when the brother moved in, after I had been mowing his yard for months, decided to buy a corded lawnmower and only mow his 12x16 square. I just let mine grow, he mowed again, and I just let mine grow. Once every 2 months I'd take a weedwacker to it to keep code enforcement at bay. It was fun, they eventually moved and who wants to buy a house with 14-20" tall grass in the neighbors yard with a 120# field lab that you let out whenever you see someone you don't like. Finally found a couple that were nice and let them know that if they buy the house, that the yard is getting redone, and that I was doing it to keep the wrong people out. By the time they settled I put a new fence in for them, laid patriot Bermuda, and turned everything back the way it should be. They were impressed. Probably hurt my resell value a little bit with the jackasses having to keep lowering their price, but it was worth it and I don't plan on moving for 10 years anyway.

Anyway, besides that fun, been crazy busy with the kids sports schedules etc.

It's been nice getting back into the grass world, and super fun learning about Bermuda and all the tricks of the trade of southern grasses.
