Hey Eric! That mower looks familiar! I also have a 48" Metro HP, although mine is a few years older. I have the pistol grips instead of the ECS controls.
Do you have a mulch kit installed on your machine? I noticed the discharge chute is blocked off.
Why are you having to manually pull back so much at the end of each pass? Are you trying to avoid divots? I generally just pivot it around at the end of a pass, but I will say that it can be tough to keep the inside wheel spinning with a belt drive machine. Takes some practice and a feather touch that I am still getting the hang of at time. I've owned the machine for a few years now and 2nd gear is as fast as I go. 3rd gear is fine on the straightaways, but is way to quick for me in the turns.
I just have a chute blocker in place. I do not have the full mulch kit.
I'm doing the "K turn" method at the end of the pass to avoid divots. I still need plenty of practice to do what you are saying and if I don't do it right, the inside wheel just tears up the grass.

Aussies tend to tell it like it is. Maybe Simon will chime in. I'm just glad a screen shot of ATY wasn't on there

Bloody Rite! I don't agree with everything he says in his videos, but I respect anyone that is making videos trying to help others.

This guy is a bit of a muppet!
I can kind of understand what he is banging on about, as most people really are not qualified to give any advice and I have seen first hand some really bad advice on some general forums.
Thank god for ATY otherwise I may have gone on a totally different path and ended up using weed & feed and cutting my lawn at 3 inches!!

I havent done any grass/yard videos yet but yesterday I was fortunate to find out the Blue Angels were doing a "Final Flight" for Captain Jeff Kuss from Pensacola Beach to Perdido Key. He was aboard the C-130 called Fat Albert. I made a quick video and put it on youtube.
