Ice Cream Maker
Anyone have a good ice cream maker they like and recommend? Might be leaning toward one with a compressor.

Re: Ice Cream Maker
How much at a time? I can make ice cream with my blendtec blender, I've also made tomato soup from whole tomatoes picked in our garden. But I've never owned a dedicated ice cream maker so I don't know how it compares in volume..

Re: Ice Cream Maker
I had one with a compressor and it was awesome. Lost it in the divorce...lol. Also had one of the ones that you had to freeze the drum and the one with the compressor was way better.

Good to know oldglory thanks.
tlinden - I thought about the blendtech too. Is it good? Not sure if it seemed like real ice cream?
