Happy New Year 2019 to all!!

Welcome to the 10th Anniversary season of AroundTheYard. It's hard to believe that a decade has passed since Turf Toes brought a small group of aficionados together and launched the site officially on March 1, 2009 (but it was unofficially working in January 2009).

Well, the time is here to put 2018 away in the record books, and begin to look forward to the 2019 season.

Best wishes to all for a healthy, happy, prosperous 2019 - and lots of green in the members' lawns and gardens...

Awww hell, BP -- we both remember the days before BL/ATY. Your 10th anniversary is Thursday - mine still has a month plus to go.

I posted partly to remember when I joined. I didn't remember that I joined before the official launch. I do remember being disappointed with some of the other sites I'd visited.

I remember in the early days, I didn't think the soil forum and test interpretations were really needed. Now, I think it's one of the best features of the site and a big part of what sets us apart from every other site. I'm glad to admit how wrong I was about that.

Andy,

Happy 10 years to you, and 27,000 posts (currently 26,995 and counting, and coming up on an official 10 years in about 5 days).

Ten years! I have to revisit the old posts to see how much I've forgotten since then.

I distinctly remember when Andy was a newcomer. And I agree with BP that I didn't think the soil analysis interpretation had legs, but it certainly does.

Looking forward to this 10th anniversary season, although we've only been here for half of that time!
