That was revealed in the comic books, er graphic novels...

Spoiler (highlight if you want to see it):

Everybody has been infected and the bites only speed it up. Die for any reason and you become a Walker unless somebody destroys your brain stem with an arrow, bullet, axe, whatever. Every person still living is a potential Walker.

End spoiler.

ouch!! I read it.

well I was on the right track with the unbitten maintenance worker idea. That will put a twist into the show later on if that's the direction they go with it.

Yep, and the guy who hung himself in the tree in the earlier episode. The zombies almost certainly didn't nibble on him while alive.

Season 7. Wow that was gory Even for this show. It was hard for me to watch. :fright: :swoon:

Glenn. Yea, it was his time to go.

Abraham. That one surprised me. I thought he was good for one more season.

Daryl. He'll be back in the spring.

I really think AMC went way to far with the graphic violence in this episode. The scenes of bashed skulls was bad enough, but to show the graphic of Glenn was too much.

It was quite enough for me, and although I'd mostly lost interest by this time (it was getting terribly repetitive), that marked the end. I won't watch any more.

From what I was told the TV version was greatly toned down from the directors cut for this episode.
