I'm one. Own an XDS .45 sub-compact as my daily carry, and an AR. Built my AR and that was a fun adventure.

Re: How many gun owners do we have here
My two favorites are probably my AR-15s. I have one pistol configuration chambered in 300 blk with an 8 inch barrel and a 6.5 Grendel rifle. There a lot of fun to plink around with and I hunt deer with them too.

I have several Glocks (each in 9mm), a 1911 Commander model, an AR15, a pump shotgun, a Smith .357 snubbie, a Ruger .45, and my wife has a nice little Smith Shield.

Re: How many gun owners do we have here
The only other online forum I'm apart of is Indiana GunOwners. It's nice that there are some gun nuts on here. Shooting guns and reloading has been a hobby of mine for a long time. The lawn hobby is a more recent one.

I still have my youth single shot .410
My 1972 Beretta AL2-20. Not worth anything just too sweet and perfect to part with.
I have my dad's first gun, a single shot 12 gauge from the 1930's. His JC Higgins (Sears) 12 gauge double barrel that he traded a DeSoto for , and his prized 1954 Belgium Browning A5 Light Twelve.
And a few CZ toys

That. Is. Awesome. What else do you have besides the 75? I really want one of those and maybe a P-01.

Re: How many gun owners do we have here
MUHAHAHAHAHHAA, you get it! See that 75 is like my wife's certain towels. Now I too can say, "it's for show, not blow", when company comes over, right??????
CZ's are in my opinion, a great value. For +/- $600 you get an all steel tool.
A SP-01 is my favorite to shoot. She's 40.7oz, so any recoil is mitigated. It's the softest shooter I have ever shot, which I also happen to shoot my best.
Then, one I really love too is an all steel compact, but with the full dust cover, just like the SP-01 has. It's model number #99021. It's a limited run because some country changed their mind before delivery, and it too has that weight (36.8 oz) and the same feel because of the upswept beaver tail angle, like the stainless 75B and the SP-01. It's identical to the P-01 expect for the beaver tail and the 8oz difference. I do not CC so the weight is not a problem for me.
FWIW, I have average sized hands. I can get a whole hand grip on the compacts. Mind you, I don't have any room to spare or left hanging over, it fits, snug without feeling anything wrong or bad. You'd need to try the size for yourself to check.

Re: How many gun owners do we have here
Thanks for the info. I've shot a few CZ's and the ergonomics are fantastic. Love em. One day I'll get one. For now, too many hobbies and too little money. Lol

Re: How many gun owners do we have here
Gun season for deer in Indiana is coming right up.
I'm usually out there with a muzzle loader or my 11-87 semi auto Remmy with rifled barrel
Indiana regulates what caliber you can use to hunt deer, and has been slowly adding more options the last several years.

Re: How many gun owners do we have here
I've been slowly building my collection back up the past few years.
Rifle season starts saturday. Me and the boys have a few new deer rifles to try out on some whitetail this year. A pair of 708 model 7s and I picked up a used 700cdl in 257 weatherby mag. Finally found a decent load for it. 3 shot group under 1/2in @100 with 110 accubonds.
I'm a sucker for old classic 22 rifles, revolvers, and pistols.
Got the 9 year old out shooting his first clays. he begs to go every weekend.

What....all of y'all turn your guns in? No post since September 2018
Picked up a few lately, an almost lnib pre 64 win 30/30, a pristine smith K22, '52 and '55 win model 63s, and had top all that high blued/walnut guns with the new glock 48.

Frankly, I’m surprised anyone is willing to say what they own. I know I’d not post that kind of information anywhere.
You’ve not posted in this thread yourself in nearly two years. Most threads have a limited life, especially in the water cooler section.

Re: How many gun owners do we have here
Not to be argumentative, but the cultural normality of gun ownership in the NYC area and metropolitan areas like Indianapolis is drastic. Two different worlds.
