Day late with this one but:

The kids are sad because it's raining on the fourth of July but you're happy because you desperately needed to the rain to wash in your imidicloprid you laid down the day before.

Everytime you wash your hair you think - "This shampoo would be much better used on my lawn!"

Or the extreme - You no longer wash your hair....

When you get home from home depot and your wife wants to know why you're happy. You got 6 broken bags of Milo 1/2 price at 3.50 per bag

Your wife is now using Twenty Mules in the laundry since last years soil adjustment. Now she complains the price has gone up.

Tell her that it's the increased demand from BL'ers that's driving up the price.

When you're stopped at a traffic light while driving back from John Deere Landscapes (where you purchased a 2.5 gallon container of Prosecutor (its brand of Roundup)) and you have an urge to get out of the truck and kill the 3-foot tall weeds you see growing on the side of the road.

When a lawn care company covers your neighborhood in flyers, but when they pull up to look at your yard, decide to skip this one.

True story, I watched Tru Green pull up with a flyer, the guy got out, looked at the grass with the flyer in hand. Shook his head, got back in his truck and moved on to the next house.

Have not gotten a lawn care company flyer in 3 years. :yahoo:

I thought I was the only one who does that. It's like an itch that needs scratching.

When the forum has a glitch and you are unable to log back on, you wonder if you are the only one, and if they will come looking for you if you can't find a way to get back on.

Nope, you weren't the only one and I was starting to feel a bit abandoned and anxious.

I'm addicted too. Maybe the old domain could be used for BL'ers anonymous.

-When you take pictures of the grass seed labels in Lowe's, just so that you can go home and compare them to the latest NTEP.

-When you have to start giving your wife excuses so that you go outside and check on the lawn.
"I'm going to see if the mail has come yet."
"Did you hear that noise outside? Let me grab the flashlight, I'll be right back."
"I'm going to walk the dog, again."

-When you want September to hurry up and get here because you get to introduce some new cultivars to the family.

The most extreme, you wash your hair while standing on the front lawn.
