I just ordered a set of Grillgrates and was lucky enough that they sell the size I need to replace my existing grates instead of having to order custom cuts. I initially ordered the size smaller with the plan to sit them on top of my existing grates but decided i mind as well just remove the original grates all together.

Cant wait to get these as Ive been eyeing them for awhile and grilling a lot this year thanks to the new Whole Foods that opened up close to my house.

I started on an 18.5" WSM - then moved up to the 22.5". If you like doing full slabs of ribs, I would recommend the 22.5". The 18.5" will do them, but you have to get creative.

What is everyone doing for the weekend? We decided on hamburgers and ribs. I haven't done ribs in a while so I am excited.

I cooked bacon on my Grill with GrillGrates today and can't believe I never tried this before as it was awesome.

I also ordered the GrateGriddle which I can't wait to cook eggs on

Upside Down Grates

Don't forget, you can also turn your grill grates upside down, especially for a reverse sear. Depending on what I'm cooking, I'll leave one side of the grill surface with "grate side up" and the other half of the grill with the smooth surface up by turning them upside down. The griddle would be nice for runny things like pancakes and eggs.

I can't believe I never cooked breakfast on the grill before. Fresh Bacon on the grillgrates and eggs on the griddle and cooked in about 5 mins...and it tastes as good as it sounds.

The Griddle also interlocks and can replace two Grate panels but I like the Griddle better on top of the Grates
